Discussion of Indigenous People's History of the United States @ Beverly Library
Wed, Sep 20th 7pm - 8:30pm
Beverly Branch Chicago Public Library 1962 W. 95th Street Chicago, IL 60643

Bethlehem's Peace Center is once again partnering with the Beverly Branch of the Chicago Public Library to host an anti-racism book discussion. Our next book will be An Indigenous Peoples' History of the United States by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. The US history most of us learn in school is told from the perspective of White European colonizers and those who came after them. Dunbar-Ortiz describes and analyzes four centuries of the complex indigenous struggles against colonization. Register ahead at the library web site.
