PEACE CAMP

Peace Camp is a one week summer program designed to help children learn how to be peacemakers in God's world. Children have fun and make new friends while learning how to find peace through yoga and prayer, non-violent conflict resolution, multicultural appreciation, the arts, care of creation, and more.  Each year's program includes a one-day field trip. Peace Camp is open to all kids entering 1st through 6th grades.

peace campers choose love over fear

Registration opens march 16

For over a decade, Peace Camp has been teaching kids the skills they need to be peacemakers in their community and world. This year we continue our partnership with Peace Camp Chicago as we explore how peace makers choose love over fear.

At Peace Camp kids learn peaceful conflict resolution skills, how to be a good friend, and how to calm down big feelings. Each day includes peace circles, art, conflict resolution workshops, stories in the sand, and a lot of fun! Each day includes a snack and campers bring a sack lunch.

Peace Camp is for all kids entering grades 1st - 6th in the fall. The fee is $100 per camper, with scholarships available.

Middle School students (entering 7th-9th grades) are welcome to register to serve as junior leaders in training for $35.

The registration fee includes the field trip and a Peace Camp t-shirt. Scholarships are available. Scholarship recipients will need a code at check out. Email Pastor Jennie before registering if you are interested in a scholarship
